Kubernetes has become the standard platform for running containerised applications at scale. A production-grade platform, however, involves much more than installing a cluster: security, networking, delivery, scaling and day-to-day operations all have to be designed in.
We design, build and operate Kubernetes platforms on Amazon EKS, Azure Kubernetes Service, Google Kubernetes Engine and on-premises distributions, and we leave your team confident to run them.
Our Kubernetes services
Platform design and build
- Cluster topology, sizing and multi-environment strategy
- Multi-tenancy with namespaces, quotas and network policies
- Ingress, certificates, DNS and, where it is justified, a service mesh
- Persistent storage, backup and disaster recovery
Security and hardening
- Role-based access control with least privilege and single sign-on
- Pod Security Standards, admission policies and network policies
- Image scanning, signing and trusted registries
- Secrets management with cloud key management services or HashiCorp Vault
- Hardening to the CIS Kubernetes Benchmark, with audit logging and runtime threat detection
GitOps and continuous delivery
We keep every cluster and application declared in Git, using Helm or Kustomize with Argo CD or Flux, so changes are reviewed, auditable and easy to roll back. Progressive delivery (canary and blue-green releases) reduces risk further. See our DevOps and CI/CD services.
Scaling and efficiency
Well-tuned clusters cost far less to run. We right-size resource requests and limits, configure horizontal pod autoscaling and node autoscaling, use spot or pre-emptible capacity where it is safe, and pack workloads efficiently, so you pay for what you use rather than what you reserved.
Observability
Metrics, logs and traces with Prometheus, Grafana and OpenTelemetry, with service level objectives and alerts that tell your team what matters, not everything that moved.
Migration, upgrades and support
We containerise existing applications, move workloads from virtual machines or legacy platforms, plan and carry out version upgrades, and provide health checks and ongoing operational support.
Is Kubernetes right for you?
Not every workload needs Kubernetes. For some applications, managed container services or serverless platforms are simpler and cheaper to run. We will give you an honest recommendation based on your applications, team and budget.
